Sufficient fluid intake is important for breast milk production. The roots, seeds, mushrooms and fruits contained in the tea strengthen exhausted mothers after childbirth and promote the production of breast milk. Black sesame hei zhi ma, honey-roasted licorice root zhi gan cao and white peony root bai shao nourish the body ideally for these circumstances. Both astragalus root huang qi, codonopsis root dang shen, poria fu ling and fennel seed tian hui xiang strengthen and warm the center and thus support the production of breast milk. Chinese angelica root dang gui and Szechuan lovage rhizome chuan xiong help the circulation, relax the breast area and, together with dandelion leaves pu gong ying, promote the free flow of breast milk.

One heaped teaspoon of herbs per cup. Add hot water and let it seep covered for ten minutes. The tea can be infused several times.
